Pro profesní studium MBA na Ústavu práva a právní vědy jsem se rozhodl po mnohaleté praxi v oboru informačních technologií a průmyslové automatizace. Pro osobní rozvoj je pravidelné vzdělávání v oboru i mimo něj nezbytné. Během své praxe jsem absolvoval řadu odborných školení a seminářů. Myšlenku postgraduálního studia komerčního práva na ÚPPV jsem pojal na základě pozitivních referencí svých kolegů. Při práci obchodního zástupce v oboru IT a průmyslové automatizace přicházím do styku s odborníky v oboru, kdy uplatním především technické znalosti. V rámci obchodního procesu však vedu jednání zejména se středními a top manažery zákaznických firem, pro něž jsou klíčové znalosti z oblasti řízení obchodu. Abych mohl být v obchodím procesu rovnocenným partnerem, rozhodl jsem se prohloubit své znalosti v oblasti obchodního práva. Studijní program MBA Commercial Law svým obsahem přesně odpovídá potřebám, které v oblasti práva vyplývají z činnosti obchodního manažera. Při studiu na ÚPPV jsem v první řadě vysoce ocenil systém přednášek s lektory. Úroveň lektorů je vynikající. Jsou to jednak pedagogové působící na českých univerzitách, a dále profesionálové z praxe, především advokáti a komerční právníci. Studium je zaměřeno nejen na teoretické znalosti právní vědy, ale také na jejich využití v reálné praxi. Přednášky jsou vedeny tak, aby se studenti aktivně zapojili do diskuse a přispěli ze svého úhlu pohledu k praktickému využití získaných poznatků. Ocenil jsem také možnost zúčastňovat se i přednášek mimo můj studijní obor a tím nahlédnout také do jiných oblastí řízení obchodu, zejména do manažerských financí a vedení obchodních činností. Závěrem mohu konstatovat, že se studiem na ÚPPV jsem byl maximálně spokojen a mohu jej doporučit všem, kteří má zájem posunout se dále ve svém osobním rozvoji.
